Red Carpet Inspired Makeup Look

Hello my beauties,

I am so obsessed with simple and elegant makeup looks that don't require so much effort, but still make you shine like a Hollywood Star at some Red Carpet events. So, if you are going to attend any elegant dinner/event and want a feminine and classy makeup to much up with a fabulous long dress, you just have to follow these very easy steps:

Face Highlighting & Contouring:

1. Apply Primer and Foundation in your natural shade
2. Highlight under your eyes (if you want between the eyebrows, the bridge of your nose and the tip of your chin as well) with a cream or liquid always 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation
3. Contour underneath your cheekbones, the temple sides, along the forehead hairline and under the jaw line with a cream or powder 1-2 shades darker than your foundation colour (*)
4. Use setting/loose powder to fix the everything.

(*) Optional: Add some sheer blush on your cheeks. (I skipped this step, because I wanted a more defined cheekbones instead.)

Eyes:

1. Apply primer on the entire eyelid
2. Take a matte pale brown eyeshadow and with a blender brush work it smoothly on the brow-bone
3.  Choose two shimmery colours, like pearl and sandstone. Apply the first on the mobile lid and the second on the crease, then blend the two together.
4. With a liquid (or gel or pencil) eyeliner, draw a thin line along the base of your lash-line and finish with a short wing.
5. Last but not least, apply your favourite mascara on both the upper and lower lashes (if you want two or more coats).
6. Optional: you can fill in your eyebrows or if they're already thick, just brush them or fix them with a brow mascara.

Lips:

1. Contour  and fill in your lips with a red (or ruby) lipliner.
2. Apply a lipstick of the same colour on top
